Unclaimed Merchandise and Deposits Policy
In the event that paid for merchandise, either fully or partially paid, is unclaimed,Stones Jewellery Victoria will attempt to contact the client a minimum of three times via every available contact given. After a period of one year from last contacting the client and no instruction about an extended no contact period has been provided by the client the following action may be taken by Stones Jewellery Victoria.
Stones Jewellery Victoria may convert either the partially or fully paid amount into a non-expiring store credit that can be used at only the Stones Jewellery Victoria location. 100% of the paid balance is converted, there is no fee or penalty.
Stones Jewellery Victoria will send a copy of the credit note to all the contacts given by the client.
The items in question may then be put back onto the sales floor once all the above has been done and approved by a manager.
Should the client contact Stones Jewellery after the items have been returned to the sales floor, all attempts to repurchase the jewellery using the store credit issued will be made. If the items are no longer available then the credit may be used towards another purchase but not refunded.
