Returns and Exchanges

 

Should you be unhappy with your piece purchased at Stones Jewellery, certain unworn pieces in like new condition can be exchanged within 30 days for equal value. Time frame and pieces accepted for exchange are subject to determination by a Stones Jewellery team member.

 The original bill of sale must be present at the time of exchange and the name of the person exchanging must match that’s which is on the bill.

Types of pieces not typically accepted for exchanges are:

  • Sized rings

  • custom orders

  • engraved pieces

  • altered pieces

  • jewellery care products

If the full value of an exchange is not met, the remainder may be converted into a credit for future use. Credit note conversion is subject to approval by a Stones Jewellery team member. 

Stones Jewellery does not accept refunds unless necessitated by unusual circumstances. Stones is committed to the high quality and the integrity of our pieces. As such, a piece may be refunded within 14 days if it is found to be defective and non repairable as determined by a Stones Jewellery team member.

If a return is deemed to be the course of action certain charges may be excluded such as shipping fees, sizing fees & any other alteration fees charged.

If a return is given and another currency other than CAD was used for the original purchase the amount refunded will be subject to the day of refund’s exchange rate whether it be higher or lower than the original purchase dates rate.

If a return is issued via credit card it must be done via the same credit card used for the original payment.

If a purchase was originally made via debit card or cash and is being refunded, a check will be made and mailed to the person receiving the refund. Cash can not be issued for any refunds whatsoever, and checks are not issued the same day under any circumstances.

For any exchanges and returns the clients full name, phone number, email and mailing address must be collected and added to the new bill of exchnage/refund. If this information is refused Stones will not honor any exchanges or refunds.
