Shipping Information
All shipping within North America is complimentary for purchases over $500. If the purchase is less than this amount a flat fee of $15.00 will be charged for shipments within Canada, and $40.00 for shipments to the USA. For orders $1,000 and over FedEx is our preferred handler. All orders of this amount are sent via overnight delivery with tracking information, and a signature required.
Within Canada:
For orders totalling $1-$999, Canada Post or FedEx are the standard carriers. Packages are shipped with tracking information provided, sometimes with a signature required, usually arriving within 1-10 business days.
- For orders within the amount of $1-$499, the cost of standard shipping can be upgraded to overnight FedEx delivery with tracking and a signature required for an additional $25.00 fee.
To the USA:
For all orders to the USA, FedEx is the standard carrier. All USA packages are shipped via overnight delivery with tracking information and a signature required.
- Pieces labeled as "Made in Canada" will not incur duty or import fees due to the ongoing USMCA Agreement. Pieces labeled as "Made in Italy" or "Italian Made" are likely to incur a duty or import fee. These fees are solely the responsibility of the buyer, and are not covered in the price or shipping fees.
Please Note:
When applicable, Stones Jewellery always selects and pays for overnight delivery, however FedEx occasionally can not honour the timeline due to internal delays, external issues such as weather, or rapidly changing protocols for customs agents. The tracking information given will provide up-to-date information regarding your package if it becomes delayed.
Some packages may arrive by alternate carriers based upon size, price, or destination. If a certain carrier does not deliver to your area, please indicate your preferred method in the ‘Shipping Instructions’ form on the checkout page.
After a purchase is made you will receive an email within 48 hours to confirm shipping information and delivery timeline. We try our best to ship pieces in a timely manner, however extraneous circumstances may sometimes cause unforeseen delays.
Taxes are charged based on shipping destination. Within Canada, taxes are calculated using the provincial tax code. Purchases destined to the United States will not incur any Canadian sales tax.
